We are pleased to welcome Aaron Day, who will be joining Muddy Boots Software as a Technical Sales Manager within the Food Commercial team. The appointment of Day will strengthen our skill set in the food safety and technical arena.
Day joins the Muddy Boots team with a wealth of knowledge and experience, gained from working in food safety and new product development. In both manufacturing and some of the largest hospitality businesses on behalf of NSF International and SAI Global. Including, being embedded as Technical Manager for the Casual Dining Group (now known as the Big Table Group) where he managed food safety and sustainability across a complex supply chain.
During his successful career, Day has gained industry recognition for the sustainability projects he delivered on behalf of CDG (Triple Bottom Line - Ethical Procurement Award 2017), as well as being shortlisted for ‘Best Food Technologist’ 2019 in the annual awards for The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT). Day is also a member of Industry Advisory Board (IAB) for the school of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Leeds, of which he chairs the teaching sub-committee and delivers annual guest lectures to students on food quality and integrity.
