What attracted you to Muddy Boots?: Coming from a farming family and having an IT background, Muddy Boots was the perfect fusion of these interests.
What does a typical working day look like?: No two days are ever the same at Muddy Boots and I enjoy the dynamic environment. It can vary from demonstrating the Insights platform to customers to building dashboards, or being involved in complex technical challenges.
Interesting fact about you?: I was at the Rugby World Cup final in Sydney in 2003, when Johnny Wilkinson struck THAT winning drop-goal for England…this was whiIe I was in Australia when Muddy Boots first setup an office down under.
Ideal dinner party guest?: Andrew Flintoff – I enjoy listening to his cricket tales.
Favourite food?: Mac n Cheese!
What makes you passionate about food / farming?: I grew up on an arable farm that my dad ran, and now my brother has taken on, but I still live on the farm and help market the free range eggs when possible: www.kilforge.co.uk
Any skills or talents that people don't know about?: I am a keen cricketer (batsman / wicket keeper) and scored a century the last time I played.
What advice do you wish you’d been given early in your career?: I’m not someone who dwells on the past thinking about things I should have done differently, but instead I look forwards and always strive to be better.
Finish this sentence: On Sunday mornings you usually find me...Outside on a family walk with our two dogs Humphrey (Springer Spaniel) and Billy (Jack Russel); who make me get out and about come rain, wind or shine.
What’s one item you can’t leave your house or apartment without?: Phone – although I don’t leave the house very much nowadays!

What publications do you regularly read or what book are you reading now?: I tend to listen to podcasts and read blogs – but my current reading materials are mostly baby-related as we have recently welcomed our first baby (a boy called Rohan) in July.
