What attracted you to Muddy Boots?: An alignment in belief systems, regarding sustainability in food chains initially and then company ethos and personalities through the interview process

What does a typical working day look like: A mixture of Teams meetings, phone calls, emails (client visits prior to COVID-19). I generally start work at 7-7.30am and finish after meetings with my UK colleagues at 7-8pm in the evenings

Interesting fact about you: I’ve had three of my photographs exhibited in Melbourne galleries

Favourite food: Anything vegan and spicy

What makes you passionate about food / farming: I only buy organic food from Melbourne fresh produce markets and have done for years, I’m conscious of what I put in my body and where it has come from. Also, I really enjoy the relationships I’ve built up with people at the markets, the quality of the products on offer and the ability to buy seasonal local produce

Any skills or talents that people don’t know about: I was leg pressing 200kg x 10 prior to lockdown

What advice do you wish you’d been given early in your career: Follow your passion
